Hello everybody!
I know, I barely ever write journals filled with random information but I felt like doing it for this purpose.
deviantART is working on an improved deviantWATCH-experience and I'm going to try it during the Beta Preview of Watch 2.0
The purpose of all this is to make it easier and stop billions of deviations and journals from piling up in the inboxes. So far I always loved the options, dA had to offer. Of couse it's hard to go through about 1.000 new uploads once in a while but I don't want to miss a thing so I take my time for this. I want people to see my works as well, so I want to look at the posts of others without being able to miss stuff.

So far dA asks Beta-Testers like me to try the new "watch" for 3 constant days and provide them with feedback afterwards. I also wanted to keep you Up2Date.

If you're a Beta-Tester, too, tell me what you think of this!
If you're not, this is my way of informing you on my oppinion on everything ~

For now I'll just start a little list on what I like and what I don't. This will be edited later whenever I have something new to say about it.
Currently in my oppinion there's quite a lot I like but the few contra-points destroy it all. I want an option to "clear" my inbox like before... Q_Q

 Pro
- Appealing look (same colorscheme as deviantART-App)
- deviations are sortet like on a wall which reminds me a little of a Petersburg hanging
- Nice new "save" (aka "bookmark for later")-option if you'd like to comment on something later but currently are in a hurry
- No need to open billions of new tabs for new deviations because they open in the feed-screen in an overlay
- Endless scrolling (people could spend a whole day on the deviation-page scrolling, faving and commenting if they want)

:star: Contra
- No way to "delete" deviations from the inbox if I've already looked (and faved and commented) on them. It's hard to keep up with everything if you don't know what's new and what's not... There's no "248723947320489324 deviations in your inbox!"-message anymore which might be great for some people but I feel like this is missing the general purpose why I liked deviantART over quick-working pages like facebook where everybody always keeps missing about 1/2 of everything they'd like to see...
- No matter if I watch deviations from a group or if I don't: They show up and really flood my new "inbox" aka. "watch feed" and I can only view ALL Group-deviations or NONE of them. No option to just watch deviations of 3-5 groups I'm actually interested in.
- New Journals & Polls are way too unsorted for my taste
- the important letters ä, ö, ü and ß (at least important for germans like me) can be used in comments but after posting, they're transformed into ü etc. just like on the app... That's a bug which needs to be fixed in both, the dA-App and the Watch 2.0 feature.
- If the comments are deactivated on a deviation, you can still comment on it in the new WatchFeed but the "Saving..."-message never disappears and the comment never actually gets posted.
- If a description is longer, it won't be shown fully. Even if you click on "more" it only expands to a set length. To read the full artist-comment one needs to open the deviation-page and go on reading there.

You can't delete it? That's annoying...
