Today on the official release-date of "Pokémon Sword" and "Pokémon Shield" I felt the urge to post a journal, unraveling my thoughts on gaming and what it means to me and how this developed over the years. Feel free to comment with your own thoughts on the topic and also answer some of my questions if you like :) - Do you play games often? - Do you rather play on consoles, computer or mobile? - What does gaming mean to you? I remember playing on my Game Boy when I was a child. I loved "Donkey Kong Land 2" and the "The Lion King"-game. Classic games where you had to start over and over once you loose or turn off the Game Boy. When the first Pokémon-games were released I was unable to understand them and mostly caught the same Pokémon over and over. I remember having a Blastoise at Level 80 (while no other Pokémon was close to Level 50) and teaching it the dumbest moves because I had no idea. In the end, my mother finished the league for me and one day when I came home from school,

Woow, da hatte ich das Journal hier den ganzen April und Mai über in meinen Notifications weil ich mir gedacht hab "kann ich mir ja mal bei Gelegenheit anschauen, aaaaber nicht jetzt", und dann sowas. Das passiert wohl wenn man nicht drauf achtet von wann das ist. 
Aber dann noch so ein schöner Klassiker, anstatt dem offensichtlicheren! Ich weiß noch, damals bei der Abi-Feier hatte ich mir eine Stelle davon als Abi-Lied rausgesucht. . .
