How long have you been on DeviantArt?

I'm here since March '10 so for about 5 years.

What does your username mean?
Back when I joined, my username was "SabakuNoElli", meaning "Elli of the Desert". This was a complete fangirl-name stating clear that Gaara from Naruto is mine because I wanted to be the best fangirl in the world with the best nickname in the world xD
My current name, "Elythe" is the name I chose after I wanted something more professional that's not a Fangirl-Name. Since I wanted to have "El(l)i", El(l)y" or something similar in it and wanted it to sound nice, I decided on Elythe, which is pronounced like "Alice" just with a smoother ending.

What is your favourite type of art to create?
Traditional art in manga-style is my favourite.

If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?
Making digital linearts. My lines are always traditional, even on my digital works they're just scanned and edited.
I'm not a digital artist and I will never be, but digital linearts would make some things easier when I wanna practice around.

What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?
Everything I like. I cross-fave a lot. I love good traditional works, but I love awesome digital works, too. Sometimes it's fanart if I'm searching for fanarts of a certain series, sometimes it's Ecchi because it's awesome.

Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?
Slugbox definitely. I love his works so much. Even though he's working digital and therefore in a completely different style than I do, I love his works and he's a real idol for me.

If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?
Again: Slugbox

How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?
I got to know so many great people on here. I never thought, meeting people with the same love for art would be so awesome.
There are many awesome people and I love them all like the friends I see every day. Not a single person impacted my life in any way but all of these great contacts I made here helped me to grow as an artist and as a person. This impacted my life.

What are your preferred tools to create art?
My colored pencils. My set is a mixture of everything: Polychromos, cheap no-name pencils, Polycolor, Stabilo, Lamy, Vivess... I love them all^^

What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?
The farm I live on. We do have a forest next door and whenever I need inspiration I just need to take a walk~

What is your favourite DeviantArt memory?
Hitting 500 watchers about two years ago was a great moment for me. I didn't believe this would happen any day at all, but it did. I'm glad about everyone of these and the over 400 new people who found their way here since then. If I'll reach 1.000 watchers, I'm sure this will be my favourite dA-memory~
