Hey, sorry it took so long. So here is that critique I promised.

Your description says this is a coloured pencil sketch. While I can definitely see that, it doesn't look it. You've done a wonderful job with this image. The background looks great, and your colours are unified but also different enough to not look silly!

I tend to have a problem with stickers, which is an effect that comes from having a dark object outlined so it'll stand out on a dark background. There are other ways to make it stand out, in this case your shadowing would probably work well enough to distinguish Kyogre from the water around her.

I love the eye, really well done. Great lighting and colouration in it, looks great. The eye seems to draw the attention, and I think the image would be absolutely perfect if as much effort was put into the dots and lines as in the eye. I can understand why you didn't put that much effort into them, namely that they aren't the centerpiece and the eye is more important, but I feel the image would work a lot better if you had.

The post confuses me a little, in particular the right fin, which appears to be bent halfway down in an angle that shouldn't be natural for the creature. It might be natural, I don't know, it just has this odd look to it. The pose might have worked better if the fin was at the same angle to the body as the other, which would mean you only see a little of it under Kyogre, but that wouldn't be as distracting.

Overall very nice, keep up the good work <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=":) (Smile)"/>
